Troncones trail - pretty good trail

We took our scooter to Troncones today from Ixtapa, scooters really don't like those speed bumps all that much rough ride it was but we made it.

Was originally looking for Cueva la Majahua (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OMklZTDWsg https://www.alltrails.com/es-mx/explore/trail/mexico/guerrero/cueva-la-majahua--2?mobileMap=false&initFlyover=true&flyoverReturnToTrail= ) but they seem to have that pretty locked up. Maybe there is a another way in?

So we took https://www.alltrails.com/es-mx/ruta/mexico/guerrero/la-majajua-troncones instead. Has a great lookout and lots of up & down. Its good work out that's for sure. But, the beaches at La Majahua are just wonderful. The food a bit pricey though but good. Dogs allowed on the beach which is a bonus. We didn't bring our dog.

Anyone looking for a good hike, its a decent trail for a long day of hiking. I think it goes on for around 35km with 980m of elevation... We only did around 12km of it though as it was getting late in the day and we burned through all our water...

we took our scooter looking for Zona Arqueológica Soledad de Maciel-Xihuacan but somehow took the wrong turn into Petatlán (cool little town) and ended up by Playa Valentin lagoona. A great place to check out as well.
