I worked for the canadian government and giant defense corporations (Lockheed) - good luck trying to raise red flags. Too many milking the mess.

Was on this project https://globalnews.ca/news/9526233/military-helicopter-crash-cyclone-software-bill/ the the stuff I saw on that project incredible. Tried to raise red flags impossible.

Was on this project https://nationalpost.com/opinion/ottawas-latest-it-project-ballooning-by-billions yikes the stuff I saw on that project, tried to raise red flags. I had to leave but many milked it silly. I could have as well, but I have integrity and morals/ethics plus standards.

Was at this large national police force for close to a decade the stuff I saw there and raised red flags about incredible https://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/rcmp-horribly-broken/article17997461/
The guy running this sat a few desks away https://www.vice.com/en/article/the-rcmp-surveilled-thousands-of-innocent-canadians-for-a-decade/ and our boss caught up in this scandal https://ottawacitizen.com/news/local-news/covert-rcmp-unit-hardly-a-secret-witness-tells-disciplinary-hearing and I had two bosses die in one year TomK in this article was my boss https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/canada-training-centre-kemptville-rcmp-asbestos-mould-1.5378334 Huge law suit against them but that takes decades to resolve https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/rcmp-class-action-lawsuit-certified-greenwood-gray-harassment-bullying-1.6597472
The stuff I have seen incredible.

And the OAG (auditor general) toxic mess that is. Trying to raise red flags about the mess is impossible. Needs a complete clean up and rebuild.

I've seen enough stuff to write a good book from a spy in the office https://seclists.org/isn/2000/Aug/9 http://circ.jmellon.com/docs/view.asp?id=1065 to pure negligence, corruption/complacency/collusion/contempt etc... Every government seems to have it now a days and big corporations as well. I used to work for https://www.investopedia.com/terms/w/worldcom.asp incredible what the got away with during the DOT con years https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/dotcon/ https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/wallstreet/

things collapse, the masses forget and the greed starts to grow again https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/evolution-of-the-self/201210/greed-the-ultimate-addiction like a bad virus it is.
2008 wasn't that long ago good documentary inside job https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_2BPs1zYMo and wall street https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-Q9AOp2FW8
Oil up inflation up interest rates up housing dies, can't print/borrow money nor sell bonds ( good documentary on money https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE88E9ICdiphYjJkeeLL2O09eJoC8r7Dc )

Good luck trying to change it, stop it, raise red flags, etc.. hard to do. So many milk the mess now a days. Especially if things get so large and it just becomes the norm.

good documentary - https://www.tvo.org/programs/the-dictators-playbook https://www.pbs.org/tpt/dictators-playbook/ https://www.forbes.com/sites/jimpowell/2013/02/05/how-dictators-come-to-power-in-a-democracy/
