You’re describing equity not equality. Equality is equal opportunity regardless of race/gender/sex orientation and the outcome being the most qualified based on merit. Equity is equal outcome by intervention not merit. I don’t know about you but I don’t care what race/gender/sex orientation my airplane pilot is as long as they’re the most qualified to fly my family safely, not because there needs to be equal outcome of pilots who fill certain race/gender/sex orientation quotas.

If you didn't care then why vote to end that equity? Now we're back to the "good ol' days" where you have LESS QUALIFIED people getting jobs simply because of being white because you voted for a racist white nationalist, which is how the system was prior to DEI being implemented, which simply meant that historical wrongs were being righted, and unqualified retired 3-star generals weren't getting the jobs that a more qualified non-white person held. Racism is not over, but now we're back in the thick of it like we haven't seen since the 50's thanks to voters like you.
