From dawn to dusk we enjoyed an absolutely picture-postcard-perfect day, one of those fragrant and balmy tropical days like an eternal summer. The steady breeze portends perfect sleeping weather for this Tuesday night. A few puffy clouds blew in from the ocean into the mountaintops of the sierra making for a picturesque sky during much of the day, but there's no snow in our local forecast. ;-)

The water should start cooling down in the coming weeks. Hopefully we won't have to go through any red tide events. They often seem to coincide with Semana Santa, but this year Semana Santa comes during the second week of April, so hopefully the crowds of visitors will be spared, though it's also the time of year for fires, and they could be a bigger problem this year than they were last year.

While there weren't many people out on the Paseo or the pier this evening, Daniel's was busy and folks were enjoying live music, and La Porteña had a line of people waiting to dine there who all appeared to be extranjeros, and from the accents we overheard I'll guess they were mostly Canadian, but we also saw a few folks we know to be Alaskans.

The Abierto Mexicano de Tenis de Acapulco 2025 got underway this Monday. If you're looking for something fun to do or if you're a tennis fan, this is a fun and exciting event well worth enjoying.
