Our absolutely picture-postcard-perfect weather continues. We awoke this Tuesday to a nice cool morning with a bit of sea fog that quickly lifted and burned off, making for a colorful dawn. A nice light breeze most of the day by the waterside felt delicious, especially in the shade when the temperature reached 30°C at the hottest part of the day.

The beaches were full of visitors sunning, swimming and enjoying themselves. And that's what Zihuatanejo's all about!

One month from today our Pacific Hurricane Season officially starts. Forecasters predict there will be 6 hurricanes Cat. 1 or 2, and 4 hurricanes between Cat. 3 to 5. The time to prepare is now.

Hotel Plaza Zihua is a small, affordable, family-run lodging, and it's the only hotel overlooking the main plaza in downtown Zihuatanejo as well as the beach and bay. Care has been taken to provide for peace and quiet in their rooms when you don't wish to listen to events in the plaza.
