I spoke too soon about our mild weather at night. Wednesday night the temperature never got below 28°C, a bit on the warm side. Gave our fans a workout last night. This Thursday night is expected to be about the same, except with a slight chance of rain. The water in our tinacos has also returned to being warmer than usual, so for a cool refreshing shower we either shower early or very quickly.

There continues to be an area of disturbed tropical weather off our coast with currently a 50% chance of development in the next 48 hours. Something to keep an eye on.

A mar de fondo effect is expected to continue through early next week, so pay attention to the waves if you go swimming or SUPing.

Beginning July 4 there will be flights via Volaris airline between Morelia and Zihuatanejo! While it's certainly a lovely drive, it's better for Zihuatanejo that visitors from Morelia and the surrounding region visit us via airline than car or bus. This could help increase tourism with the purchasing power we need. Hopefully there will be enough interest to sustain this service.

One of the nicer more affordable vacation rentals in La Madera neighborhood is Casa Linda located atop the small hill at La Madera with views of the bay and town. Three apartments that can be rented all together or individually, each beautifully decorated with Mexican handcrafts. One with two en-suite bedrooms and two with one bedroom each as well as a sofa or pull out bed. All with full kitchens, living area, balconies, and shared access to a garden with BBQ facilities as well as the rooftop terrace.
