Yes, it was a mess. I was sitting on La Ropa and could see the line of debris heading down the beach before finally washing ashore. Definitly not the day to be swimming in the bay.

What had me scratching my head is why the beach cleaning lady was raking up all the organic matter instead of focusing on the tons of plastic/trash. It took her an hour to clean up a few yards of beach because she was bagging up everything, branches, cocos, leaves..Get the nasty plastics and cans off the beach first, worry about the other stuff later.

Ixtapa beach is clean.
