Soy Un AfiZIHonado de Mangos
A bit of haze moved into the region today even though there was a gentle breeze most of the day. Since the sun rises so quickly at this latitude, it gets bright and hot early, and the haze acts like a magnifying glass making the sun feel even hotter. So the place to be was in a hammock in the shade sipping something cool. Yeah.
The increase in visitors continues. Las Gatas, Isla Ixtapa and Playa Linda were all quite busy today. All getting a little more crowded each day. The downtown beach had a few people, but still not very many, though I expect that by this coming weekend that will change.
It sprinkled a tad sometime during the wee hours this morning, but still not enough to water the plants. This Wednesday evening it was trying to sprinkle, but it looks like the raincloud emptied itself out over Coacoyul and Agua de Correa and we'll have to keep waiting and hoping. That happens a lot this time of year.
A mango licuado with pan dulce still warm from the bakery is a delicious way to start the day. Makes me feel like the luckiest Gringo in Mexico!
A world apart from most of Ixtapa, Ixtapa Iguana Condo 270 offers a comfortable and lovely two-bedroom low-rise condominium overlooking a pool right on El Palmar Beach in Ixtapa, available by week or month. Sleeps up to six and features a full kitchen, terrace, air conditioning, and TV.

El Paseo del Pescador casi vacío durante el día por la falta de sombra después de la última dizque remodelación.
