Thank you for publicizing the petition. The tour buses on la ropa are a serious problem for many reasons, including the narrowness of the road, and even worse, the lack of facilities for visitors on the beach. No shade available, no restrooms, no chairs. Where would the buses park, and to say nothing of 100+ of them going both directions daily. Just many accidents waiting to happen.

I totally sympathize with keeping buses out of La Ropa. I lived in La Ropa when the first parking lot was cut out of the hillside in front of my mother's home, at the expense of all but one of her fruit trees, and immediately there were tour buses parking in front of her home with their motors running for hours. The fumes and the noise were intolerable. They refused requests to turn their motors off, so I would toss special "aromatic" presents at the air vents of their rooftop A/C units. A small consolation for the discomfort they caused us.
