Friday night was perfect sleeping weather thanks to the rains that passed through and brought down the temperature. The waves from the passing storms are my favorite lullaby. Another reason the rainy season is my favorite time of year.

The crowds showed up last night and today. All of a sudden the streets, walkways, plazas and beaches are full. Not with as many affluent visitors as we would like, but better than we've been seeing for the past several weeks. There were still too many empty tables at the downtown waterfront restaurants,

The parking lot between the museum and the intersection with Benito Juárez has had yellow parking lines painted on it as if the municipal government is going to again permit buses to park there. So far I've only seen Sprinters (extra long vans) parked there. I don't think it's a good idea if they aren't going to install public bathrooms there. That's one of the reasons buses were previously banned from there. Bus parking areas need garbage cans (there are none there), shade (there is very little), seating (there is none), and public bathrooms (none exist anywhere near there).

Looks like we may get some more rain this evening. Clouds with lightning and thunder surrounded the bay just a short while ago, but it's barely sprinkling at the moment, oops, here comes some rain. A nice light and steady rain for a few hours would be perfect. ;-)

[image]Paradise may have once been lost, but when you arrive at this lodging you'll know you've truly found it. Casa Escondida offers a 2-bedroom home, a 2-bedroom apartment, and two 1-bedroom bungalows all designed in local tropical styles. This incredible property is located on Troncones Beach a short walk from the village. Features a pool, ceiling fans and hammocks on the porches. Rent the entire property or in parts.

Las huellas de una tortuga marina muestran que salió, anidó, y regresó al mar frente al museo.
