Thanks, Rob, for your point of view. Generally, I put a great deal of faith in what the BBC reports. However, their article and others from other sources left me a bit unsettled. A demonstration against violent crime quickly turns violent? I don't pretend to understand Mexican politics and it appears many other outsiders are in the same boat as I am.

I just keep praying that someday, we will see the folly of the so-called War on Drugs, aka Prohibition 2, and we will remove a significant portion of the cartels' income. As has been argued on this forum, it may be too late.
