Safer than ever!

Hi! My boyfriend and I have plans to fly to Zihuatenejo to then go to La Saladita for a surf trip this Friday. I’ve been here multiple times and have never felt unsafe, but am feeling a bit nervous about everything going on. Is there any need to cancel the trip? & will we have any issue driving from the airport to Saladita? Thank you in advance I really appreciate it!

If you've never felt unsafe in Saladita before, a previous local hotbed of criminal activity, then nothing should make you feel unsafe now.
