Comida in Lazaro Cardenas

We have to return to Lazaro to pick up our passports during an afternoon in April.

Any suggestions on an interesting place to eat there? We don't want McDonald's.

There is a delightful pizza 'n' beer / karaoke restaurant called "chiprout." It's a dumb name or maybe I am just missing some double meaning. But the pizza was excellent. The decor is zany with a ton of silly and funny sayings plastered across the walls. I didn't care much for Lazaro but I would entertain a bus ride up there for a night of karaoke and pizza.
