Where is safer

Actual data does tell a meaningful story. It removes our " feelings" on a topic. As a nation the USA has a murder rate of about 6.5 per 100,000 Mexico's homicide rate for 2025 dropped to 17.5 per 100,000 people, a significant 30% decline from the previous year, with 23,374 total victims recorded. IN the US 60-70 % of murders at not random at all but done by someone known to the victim. In Mexico about the same % are cartel involved. Like your story about the Beatles , a persons perceptions are colored by the media reports. In the south we "feel" the US is very dangerous , in the north , they "feel" that way about Mexico. In the US I lived on a " rough" part of town. Here , I'm in La Ropa. Mexico seems safer to me B-) B-)
