UPDATE: IT RAINED!

During the middle of the night I wasn't sure if it was a flashback, a flashbulb or a flash of lightning until I heard the THUNDER, then came the heavenly scent of petrichor, then it started to rain in earnest. Not hard, but steady. Enough to wash the dust off of everything and leave standing puddles. The temperature quickly dropped around 5 or 6°C from 28°C to around 22°C, more than "coolish." Had to turn the fan down, pull the sheets up and snuggle with my sweetie.
