AI: Accurate or just accommodating?

I doubt any of us bother to decipher his posts. However if you copy and paste it into one of the AI portals and ask for a summary you'll get one, accurate or not.

That "accurate or not" jumped out at me.

In Rob's recent defence of his quaint insistence that we are all "Americans", from Baffin Island to Tierra del Fuego, he wrote:

"AI will always tell you what it thinks you want to hear."

(In putting this post together, I hesitated at the spelling of "defence":
se or ce? Well, what does AI say?
"defense (with an s) if you are writing for an American audience, defence (with a c) if you are writing for a British, Canadian, Australian or international audience.";)

I know: I'm piling-on

Anyway, back to Rob's quote, above. If true, I'm curious to know what verbal gymnastics Rob would resort to, to get AI to give him what it thinks he wants to hear, on the usage of the terms "America" and "American."
