Incident Outside of the Airport
Even though it hurts me to agree with Rob he has a good point here. Go to Cabo or Cancun and see what the taxi prices are there. This is just the tip of the iceburg. Do you want to start paying $10 to go from La Ropa to downtown or $30 to go from Zihua to Ixtapa? Last 2 times I got a ride before we got out of the airport parking lot. This is just good info to know what to do. Same as when I rent a car in Cancun or Cabo. If you get pulled over don't pay the bribe, they will give up and just give you a warning.
