If You would have asked a Troncones Taxi for a round trip ,I am sure one could have been had.
To have a Zihua Taxi or Ixtapa Taxi drive out to pick You up ,You can expect a confrontation , You would have the same problem having a Troncones Taxi come to a Zihua/Ixtapa hotel to take You on a round trip tour to Troncones.
Has nothing to do with Mafia ,it is just common sense.

You mentioned nothing of the Guy who walked away from a Dinner invite , to pick You up in Buena Vista ,so You didn't have to walk from the highway at night and rather than understand the local customs You probably scared away many potential Clients. Hence the Loose Lips subject line !
