Time is moving too fast here :-(

Tomorrow will be one week already I'm here and although this trip I'm badly trying to take it easy, I always feel tere's so many places I want to try food there or go see and run out of time...

Monday was a quiet day for me, mostly relaxing at poolside or walking around town. In the evening I went to meet m friends and helped them closing their shops and we went for drinks and chat after. I wasgoing to go to the new mezcaleria but everything was already closed in front of playa municipal. It reminded me of what Zihua was 20 years ago when that part of town would just shut down right after 10 and all you would hear is the sound of the waves.

We bumped into Carol and her husband and Timmac and Fran from the board before heading to the Beachcomber bar and spent some time there with only locals to be seen as last night seemed to be a slow night. We had a great chat and a few drinks and then got hungry so it was time for a visit to Papa Locas for tacos al pastor and horchata to dilute some of the beer we had before. Then I headed back to my hotel to watch some of the Olympics. Another great day was dne with.

Tuesday has been mellow so far although I was up earlier and had another nice breakfast at Margaritas. Then went for a walk into centro and for my espresso fix and a chat with my friends. Had a ady going by selling some coco so tried some. My friend had the one with a chili sauce on it and I had it with lime juice. I also had the coco water which was very sweet today. Then their kid came back from school and it was time for lunch. We went together and they had these 2 tables outside with a few ladies that prepare food at home and sell it on the street. It was all so tasty and flavourful and we cooled off with some agua de pina and then it was time for me to head back to my hotel. I so wish I could find lottery tickets now as while I was tasting the food I had not once but twice bird droppings on me lol.

Now, got to figure out where I will head out for dinner and evening...So many executive decisions...
