Scents,oils and insects
I tend to prefer using natural products. For my dry skin I really like using the coconut oil while in z . However ive noticed that it can attract wasps so it doesn't seem that great to use. Is there any other natural oils that would be better?
I also brought various essential plants oils to use while i am here. Mint ,and lavender , lime are some that are supposed to be good for repelling insects but I am wondering if this is actually not the case for the tropics. Though my place is very clean , there have been various bugs, including some cockroaches. I realize this is their home and not mine so I'm okay with it but I would like to try to make them feel unwelcome in my apartment while i am in it if at all possible! Anyone have any idea whether mint , Lavender, or lime actually work here? what do locals use to sprinkle near, or on their beds etc. , and surroundings to deter insects and bugs ? .
