ATM hassles?

Read an old 2013 post about this but thought I would mention it still happens.

Got card back at HSBC and receipt but no cash, called CIBC they say they send in an investigation request which could take up to 90 days so we shall see! Anybody experience this recently between CIBC and HSBC or HSBC abd another bank?
