Travel suggestions close to Zihua

If you are interested in leaving the coastal area for a few days, why not have a look at Patzcuaro (about a 3 1/2 hour scenic drive)and explore it and the little towns along the lake, like Tzintzuntzan and Quiroga...then maybe the other 45 minutes drive to Morelia? Very charming places with lots to see and appreciate.
