That is crazy expensive Carol! From about $75/month to to $360/month??? Any chance someone is stealing your electricity? I recognize we have some good rates for our hydro but here I would pay about 1/4 of your rate for the same usage you do. I always wonder about the ac I see most often in Mexico and how efficient they are as at these rates it sure makes a difference. And Keith brings a good point about using a generator. On the long term, you would likely save a fair amount of money and it would be useful when the power goes down.
