Afternoon Ixtapa Wedding

Thank you to everyone for all of the advice!

After much consideration, we have planned to hold our wedding ceremony at 3:30pm.

We understand that it is very hot in Mexico during the afternoon, however, people expect the heat when visiting Mexico for vacation. We live in an area that normally gets hot temperatures during the summer, and weddings are held all the time in this heat. There are all sorts of ways to help your guests keep their cool for the short period during the ceremony

I know that the way of life in Mexico is to relax in the afternoon, followed by a late dinner - which I'm sure is great for some people, but just doesn't suit us.

I've never been one who has dreamed of having a "sunset" ceremony, so the fact that we would miss that during our ceremony doesn't bother me.

We are extremely excited about our special day, and know that it will be just what we want.
