Future of tourism in Mexico
I just read this article in the San Francisco Chronicle on Tourism in Mexico and was horrified/intrigued. I keep trying to see a pattern that would make Zihuatanejo successful. I know it is not theme parks but are we out of touch? Or are we right that if the low key, small town, fishermen, no highrise that all of us who are still here/coming wanted is still a vacation goal for the person who wants to come to Mexico for vacation. I make no judgement but wonder what others (who take the time to read the article) think. FYI I am referencing Zihuatanejo, not Ixtapa.
