Z Big Bay With Z Little Pier

I don't know about you all, but my wife and I never get tired of the singular beauty that is Zihuatanejo Bay. It is truly a unique and well-sheltered bay that does so well to protect us from passing storms while offering its calm waters for the benefit of both beachgoers and fishermen. It is one of the most perfect bays anywhere in the world for the purposes of a fishing village and tourist destination. Waking up to this beauty and this perfect weather every morning is an indescribably soul-satisfying experience. I feel like one of the most privileged humans in the world.

But when I see what we now have for a pier due to the short-sightedness of the local government I feel like screaming in rage and weeping for Zihuatanejo. We deserve better than this. This isn't an "accident". The collapse of the pier was long foreseen.
