Intercam / InterBanco

We have resisted applying for a local bank account but are now signing up with Intercam's new InterBanco service.
Interesting .... They are becoming a bank and not just an investment company. Claim they want to be the best bank in Mexico.
-- They plan to have an ATM at Commercial Mexicana by mid December. No fee withdraws using their debit card.
-- No service fee and no minimum balance.
-- Transfers from our USA bank by personal check or wire.
-- A system where we can give our workers a card and then transfer payments to their card which worker can use at an ATM.
-- Personal check writing at a cost of 6 pesos per check.
-- And the sign-up was easy ... Angela Solis came to our home to do all the paperwork. Wow!

Still skeptical but will give them a try.
