Am I correct?

All beaches in Mexico are public (hehehe). When the government surveyed in plots along the beach (i.e., Ixtapa, La Barra de Potosi/Playa Blance, they left public access routes so the general public would still have access to the beaches.

The plots alng Playa Blance started on the straight stretch of beach road just maybe 1.5 S of the airport starting with a hectare (100 meter square) along the beach from lot #1 to lot #64(?) at La Barra de Potosi. Every 10 lots (one kilometer) a public beach access lot 10 meters wide was plotted. Do you see any of those lots today? Most have been built on or sold by shady oiperators, hence public access si severely limited/impede.

It is my understanding something similar happened in Ixtapa. How many public accesses do you see along the "strip" today? I bet it is virtually impossible for a local citizen to walk from the main street onto the beach. I wonder if they can even do it thru DIF, or is DIF still on the beach??
