La Ropa

From my experience on La Ropa, if the doggie cops are there they will harass you. Best advice is to say "No hablo Espanol." smile, and politely ignore them. That seems to work for some folks.Also, they will not bother if you take the back road in to sit in a restaurant with your dog. Just don't take the dog out of the restaurant onto the beach.
We had a "service dog permit" which has now expired, and when we went to Ayuntamiento to see about getting it renewed, there was a padlock on the gate and no instructions as to where we might find any public officials. Now wondering how we are supposed to pay our property tax!
