That picture is actually very interesting as there is a feeling in the industry that once Americans start being able to go back freely to Cuba, many Canadians will be looking for elsewhere because it is expected that Cuba pricing will go up substantially. And Cuba having been a low-price destination for so long, it has catered to a certain demographic in the travel industry, even more so with Cuba suffering financially and a lack of goods. Many people, especially Canadians, are going to Cuba and the DR becaus eit is cheap. Mexico could end up being a winner of this change of economics and get some of that Canadian clientele as the canadian dollar is doing ok with the peso and pricing are likely to be appealing in many places.
