Regarding your photos: FYI, (I'm sure you know) the tree where the iguana is is called bamboo. The garza and the cacique are both sitting in a guamúchil tree. You can eat the popcorn-looking fruit from the guamuchil. It is a very popular natural candy here.
My wife and I used to live right next door, albeit 20 years ago. You're in a great neighborhood, but that damn church clock "bell" at Plaza Kioto going off all night long used to make me think evil thoughts. I hope it's broken now.
