Getting to Las Gatas

It really depends on a number of factors: age, physical condition, location of your accommodations vis a vis Las Gatas and degree of stinginess. The fellow who turned me on to Zihua is a notorious pennypincher and always walks there from where he stays on La Madera. Our place is right next door to where he stays and I've been accused of having miserly tendencies, but I would never consider the long hike. The 10 minute walk to the pier and the water taxi ride across the bay is just fine with us.
