From Alaska I sent myself money three times to Zihua. It was MoneyGram and to send $990. cost me $8.00. You need only your drivers license to send money. To pick up the money here at Electra you need your passport if not a Mexican citizen. Last year all I needed was my Mexican Drivers license but the regulations changed. You get a really good exchange rate. The same as with ATM's.
