Zanka, is our local word for US people from Zihua,BUT this term is saved for us. We frown negatively when a foreigner uses that words, not because is bad but it " looks like you're trying to hard to fit in". We're Guerrerenzes 'cause our state or Cocho from Tierra Caliente of Guerrero, Zihuatanejenze for foreigners and others... Best to of all is to call each person by his name if you know it or Senor/Senora, instead of AMIGO!! UNLESS I'M YOUR FRIEND!!

Don't get so defensive, superzanka. Perhaps I should have explained the reasons for my original question more clearly. I never intended to present myself as a "local", and have no desire to "fit in" anywhere, except where I belong.
I'm looking for a suitable name for a group of musicians from the Zihua area, who asked their fans for suggestions for a name for the group.
