To Z Or Not To Z?

Love is certainly in the eye of the beholder, which is why it's nice to see the city give a little love to the Cancha Municipal with a fresh coat of paint. Of course it was only because a politician gave a speech, but whatever excuse they use to pretty up the place works. Let's hope for some more love from our municipal authorities. We really could use it!

What I love seeing are all the smiling foreign tourists in the streets and on our beaches! They are mostly Canadians, which is a bit different than usual, but we are extremely grateful for their presence here. Tourist-wise, this season is much better than last year, and the promising turnout by our US and Canadian brothers and sisters bodes very well for our future.

I really can't say enough good things about our weather! Just absolutely perfect and utterly comfy from sunup to sundown. It's also most excellent sleeping weather for leaving the windows open and listening to the rhythm of the light surf in our bay. To those of you who are here, be sure to rub it in the faces of all your friends back home, especially if they're suffering through the cold and the snow. I have some cousins on the coast of Massachusetts just north of Boston where they're definitely having "one o' those winters". Something like 7 or 8 feet of snow on the ground in some places and more on the way. Brrrrrrr!
