Is this Map of Zihua Bus stops correct?

Hi !
I will be arriving in Zihua soon and am researching local travel options. I understand that there are many taxi's available, but I also want to consider using the local buses. Especially to the music venues.
I found this map with Red Stars where local bus stops are in the Zihua tourist area, to various destinations. Is this map still accurate?
I am also wondering what bus stop or intersection to catch a local bus to:
- any where near Playa Ropa Beach where I can find live music at El Gringo Gordo, Hotel Rossy, Loot & Surf, EL Pirata
- El Canto de las Sirenas (near Central de Autobuses) where there is a Monday night jam
Thanks for any feedback and info on this. Really looking forward to the trip. Snowing again here!
Marty

Interesting map. Accurate??? We catch the bus to the airport from Plaza Kyoto, best thing is to watch for a bus, try to flag it, and if it doesn't stop, it will probably point to it's next stop ahead of you. The airport buses go by Las Sirenas, but you need to know where it is.
The Playa la Ropa van runs from 6am to almost 7pm. It runs a loop from roughly your red star marking the Ixtapa bus to the end of Playa la Ropa, at Las Gaviotas. It goes right by Gringo Gordo, Loot, and Rossy's and El Pirata are 2 and 3 doors north of Las Gaviotas, the end of the line. Except in town, it will stop anywhere for you. It costs 8.5p. Taxi from centro is about 55p for up to 4 people.
Have fun!

Thanks for info, sounds easy.
What about where to catch the local bus to:
El Canto de las Sirenas, which is near the Central de Autobuses (corner of Neptuno and Calle Paseo de Zihuatanejo).
Thanks
Marty

Again, airport buses, any of them. If you don't know where it is, take a cab. It isn't hard to find if you know where it is.
Buses are EASY!!!!! If you get on a wrong one, it only costs a little, and it's all part of the adventure.

Any bus heading south. Might say Central, Aeropuerto, Coacoyul, IMSS, Petatlán.
There are lots more bus stops than shown on that somewhat odd map. In reality anyplace that a buss passes is good enough if you don't see a bus shanty. But the main bus shanties are at Plaza Kioto and Plaza Libertad de Expresión.

I'll bite. Is Plaza Libertad de Expresión where the Ixtapa buses leave from, if not where is it? And, why the name? Has to have some history.....

The OFFICIAL name is Plaza Libertad de la Expresión, but most folks just call it Plaza de los Güevones. Known for attracting unemployed borrachos who claim they're looking for work, slowly over the years one municipal administration after another has allowed it to become invaded by private businesses who surely pay nice kickbacks to their patrón. One of the local newspapers even chronicled in detail the arrival of an illegal eatery, the cutting down of trees and the fencing in and privatization of an area complete with documents showing who signed what, all the elements for the municipal government to prosecute one of its employees for corruption, but instead the public employee got a promotion. So have no doubt about our local government. They practice and protect corruption. And this plaza is a symbol of that.
