It seems to me that except for the website of undostres.com.mx a CFE bill can't be paid with a US or "foreign" Debit or credit card.
I am wondering if anyone paid their CFE bill with their US plastic, and where, besides undostres.com.mx did you pay it?
I tried an OXXO, it was declined, same at the CFE-mático machines.
I sent an Emal to CFE about it. Their reply is below.

He is correct, we asked about it. The only place you can pay with a foreign credit card besides undostres is inside the office with a person.

Confirmed: I went to the CFE office in person today.
No problem with the USA plastic. Bill paid, done deal.
On a side note, I went overboard with the a/c:
$3,025 for 1,006 kWh consumo.
For several months prior, I had an average bimonthly consumption of 828 kWh, with an average cost of 1,989 per recibo CFE.
So, it's time to "cool it" (PUN INTENDED) with the a/c

Is is possible to pay for CFE physically at the CFE office. I want to pay several months in advance via a Mexican debit card and would prefer to do it in person.

I just paid at the undostres.com.mx website

with ZERO comission, 0 fee, using my CA bank Debit card.
The "Icing on the cake" is that they added a whopping $50 pesos to my "monedero" as it is a day of their "Quincena" promotion, which I can use when I buy a recarga for a cell phone
They usually tack on a use of card fee, + a commission, both of which, at least for now, were eliminated.

Thanks but I want to pay in person so I can prepay multiple months. I went to the site you mentioned and since I had no outstanding balance, I could not pay.

You need to hook up with undostres. I love being able to sit at home on the computer and pay CFE and add pesos to his phone in 2 minutes. Not only do they give you bonus money, we normally put 100 pesos on his phone for 30 days of use. They always give a double bonus, and we use the bonus money, so this month, like most we got 150 pesos good for 60 days, used our "monero" and it cost 34 pesos.
All on a US cash back card. Life is good.

Just to remind anyone that elects to use undostres.com.mx the "bonus money", or rebates, are available and added ONLY twice per month at each " quincena ".

YES, the office is open, and does promptly close at 3 p.m.
The CFE Agent attending should know about whether or not they can accomodate your desire to do the prepay / funding your account, so you don't have to fuss with it each time payment is due.

I have paid the last two times online with my AMEX card. When they ask for the bank, I choose other. Hope its not a loop hole, because it really is convenient.
