We just had this mural painted in our back yard and are absolutely thrilled. It took just a week, measures 30 meters long and we love it!

Sorry I was unable to show photos of the entire wall, but at least this photo will give you a taste of it.

The artist is Salvador Tinocco Leyva, on FaceBook as Espacio Creativo Tinocco. You can see another example of his work at the end of the Mercadito on Playa la Ropa, down from the dolphins between Villa Mexicana and The Thompson hotels.

Have a blank space? Hire him to beautify your life.

Beautiful work! Very nice job! Aren't you all lucky! I've seen some of his work around. I'll have to get him listed.

I love murals and Mexico is abound with them, if you happened to see my Flickr link Mexico 2020 many posts ago you will have seen photos of murals. The one thing you should ask the artist is will they come back and touch it up periodically. Alot of the murals I saw and photographed were deteriorating with age. A good friend is a muralist (started a a graffiti artist, lookup Earthcrusher) says he goes back after 4-5 years to touch up his work.(the legal ones)

Salvador made a point of telling us several times that he plans on keeping an eye on it and will keep it in great condition.

Interestingly, when we started painting this place we started working with Dumex paint, sold at Sotelo. When trying to come up with just the right colors Dumex actually sent 4 reps from Michoacan to consult. We let Salvador know that the wall had fresh Dumex paint on it, so he choose to use that instead of his usual Comex. He was very impressed with the paint and said he'll use it for future work.
