State health authorities report 1 currently active case of Covid-19 in Zihuatanejo, and NO cases for the rest of the Costa Grande. There are currently 25 total registered active cases in the state of Guerrero. Looking good, and an intense vaccination campaign is currently underway throughout the state.

The federal government announced that Covid-19 is no longer an epidemic in Mexico, there will no longer be epidemiological Semáforos, that the use of facemasks is no longer essential, and that beginning April 28 children 12 and older can begin to register for Covid-19 vaccinations. https://mivacuna.salud.gob.mx

I doubt anywhere in the world had better weather than Zihuatanejo did today. Just an absolutely picture postcard perfect and extremely comfortable day all day, sunup to sundown to sunup and all over again. Waves not too big though a mar de fondo is still occurring. Humidity just right. Clouds in the sky (it rained in parts of Guerrero and much of Mexico)! I still think the rains will arrive here early.
