Health officials for the state of Guerrero currently register 185 active cases of Covid-19 in Zihuatanejo, 15 in La Unión, 33 in Petatlán, 12 in Técpan, 696 in Acapulco, and 3,246 for the entire state.

Buses are starting to show up in greater numbers and tourists carrying large coolers and everything they need for the day are walking from Plaza Kioto to the pier to catch water taxis to Las Gatas in the mornings and then making the return trip all tired and sunburned in the late afternoon and early evening. Their numbers will continue increasing over the next couple of weeks as our brief summer vacation season gets into full swing. This Thursday is the last official day of the school year.
