I forgot to mention yesterday that our church Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe celebrated its 68th anniversary of its founding yesterday. This is the church on Cinco de Mayo that my suegra, doña Rosa worked so hard to get built, though too many people who live here nowadays no longer know or remember such things.

Our temps have been perfect for sleeping at night and snuggling under the sheets with the recent storms. Mornings have been mainly cloudy if not a bit rainy, but the sun seems to surprise us each day and brighten everything up, bringing out all the bright colors. What a beautiful place to wake up in each morning!

Casa Kitty is a truly relaxing and lovely lodging featuring two 2-story structures.
