Man, it got a bit nipper last night for my tropical blood. Had to turn the fan down low and snuggle under the sheet while it drizzled much of Friday night. I sure hope that wasn't our last rain. Huracán "Roslyn" seems to have sucked all the humidity along with it. Saturday we had some clouds, but no rain in Zihuatanejo. The multitudes of tourists we saw on Playa Principal and returning from Las Gatas certainly seemed pleased.

We've been seeing more and more foreigners around town. Welcome back! It's certainly good to see you all! Tell your friends about us and what a great time you had, and please don't forget to post your trip reports here.

My longtime friend Thierry of Carlo Scuba at Playa Las Gatas is one of the most experienced dive masters in the region. The coastal region of Zihuatanejo has much to see and explore underwater, and Thierry and his team are among the most qualified local experts
offering exciting guided tours of the best dive spots around. Fully PADI qualified!

Saturday morning was absolutely spectacular in Zihuatanejo. There were lots of turtle tracks on Playa Principal in the morning, most of their nests looked like they'd been dug up. The beach got quite crowded as the day wore on.
