Still no confirmed cases of Covid-19 along the entire Costa Grande of Guerrero, but a case of dengue was reported yesterday in Petatlán. So be sure not to leave water standing around on your property where mosquitos can breed.

Today was another of those oh so perfect days. No rain, though. Enjoy those lush green hillsides and the fragrant scent of the verdant jungle while they last.

We continue seeing more foreigners around town. ¡Bienvenidos! My! How we've missed you!

One year ago today we got slammed by Huracán Rick. One of the longest nights of my life, and certainly one I'll never forget. The region lost too many of its beautiful and precious big trees, especially in Ixtapa.

If you feel like pampering yourself for a day on the water, I highly recommend the services offered by Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa Charters. A top-notch operation offering some lovely luxury yachts for enjoying a day on the ocean along our coast. Whether you want to snorkel, fish, see whales and dolphins, have a party, or just enjoy a leisurely day cruising around the local bays and islands, they offer all kinds of lovely yachts for all kinds of tastes.

A couple of fishing pangas race in to beach themselves under illuminated morning clouds.

It worked! As your comments were posted, we just had a little rain squall. Thanks!

Glad we are coming out of hurricane season and no storms on the future cast.

Yep Rick was a rude awaking for sure. Had a 6 month old in the house with us with windows breaking, shutter slamming, Trees breaking, and you could not see any of it until morning.

Great Taste in Music.....

Love Jenny and the MEXICATS. Not bad for a 6' british girl that wanted to learn spanish. After singing and then speaking to an audience you can tell the first timers. Their jaws drop.
