Guerrero's health officials confirm 9 currently active cases of Covid-19 in Zihuatanejo, 89 in Acapulco, and 256 in the entire state.

Presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador said this Saturday in Morelia that he wants Mexico to have a better healthcare system than Denmark. Sounds terrific! Making people healthier is how Mexico makes itself more productive and happier.

Feb. 4 at 5:30 PM there is going to be a PaellaFest at the municipal pier put on by the Club Rotario. $450 per person donation.

We continue enjoying picture-postcard perfect weather. Nights continue cool, and the bay water temp is flirting with the 26°C range. That's my limit, but all the tourists seem to think it's great. Saw a small group of novice SUPers head out from the downtown beach this morning, and no sooner had they gotten a few meters out that I heard a blood-curdling scream. One of the girls practically ran into the head of a pez vela that a fisherman had dumped in the bay (I couldn't see if its spine was still attached). Not cool for them to do that, but it's still fairly common to see. Glad I didn't have to rescue anyone. That water's nipper right now!

[image]There's a very nice affordable condo in Ixtapa with a terrific view called Tesoro Ixtapa Penthouse 612. A two-bedroom private penthouse overlooking Ixtapa's El Palmar Beach with a panoramic view from every room and the terrace. Full use of resort hotel facilities is included. A very good deal!
