Guerrero's health officials report NO currently active cases of Covid-19 in Zihuatanejo or the rest of the Costa Grande, 55 in Acapulco, and 142 in the entire state.

Once again almost all the restaurants along the waterfront were full of foreigners enjoying their vacations. A wonderful thing to see, for true! A shame to think it will mostly be over in a month when Semana Santa begins and Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa is overrun with families from the inland cities. Not quite so orderly or such big spenders, but they are most certainly welcome and good to see, too.

The water along our coast has cooled to about 27.3°C. And there were some small swells this Friday morning. Acapulco got a light rain this Friday afternoon, and though some clouds rolled by us, we received no precipitation. Only 2½ more months until we can start expecting rain again.

I fell in love with my lovely Sirena Dorada several more times today, same as I've done every day for the past 34 years. Every single day she is my muse, my inspiration, the light of my life, the beat of my heart. She makes me feel like the luckiest Gringo in Mexico.
