If you're on the beach or near the ocean after dark, look for bioluminescence in the waves. You can also drag your foot across the wet sand by the water's edge and see it sparkle. Cool!
Some clouds rolled in late this Wednesday, but no breeze or rain. Wednesday morning was cool until the sun came out, then it quickly warmed up into another perfect tropical day. People coming back from Las Gatas at the end of the day were all smiles, many with the glow of the sun in their skin. It's always a pleasure to see our visitors happy and enjoying their visit.
I've seen lots of tuna getting carried away from the waterfront lately, so for diners there's fresh tuna in many local restaurants, and for fishermen there's some excitement waiting to be had. Biggest tuna I ever helped catch (it took 3 or 4 of us taking turns to reel it in and boat it) was with my dear friend Ramón Olea on his panga Oleaje. He really knows what he's doing, and he's not just a competent fishing captain but also a wonderful person all around. A pleasure to be around and to do business with.
