No internet again.

It's region wide. No internet or cell service for Telmex AGAIN! I just got internet back but still no cell.

I was surprised by how isolated - kind of paralyzed - I felt with neither Internet nor phone. And I'd been looking forward all day to watching the Wild-FLyers game. I got service back in time to see the last eight minutes plus OT & shootout.

Internet outage

When I had my house built in Troncones, there was no internet service and no telephone service. It would have been difficult as there was no electricity. :-D

I had to walk about four kilometres to get to a telephone casita (does anyone remember those?) wondering whether they would have service. I’m glad I had the good sense to enjoy it while it lasted.

Now we have electricity, telephone, internet.

I miss the old days when I could go to Troncones and be in my “Fortress of Solitude”.

SO remember! We were still RVing when the big quake hit Southern California. My parents, still living, knew how things were, and made sure the gas and thing were secure in our little beach cottage. His parents had no clue and freaked out, looking for us.

Don't you love life when you could go to the telephone places, pay the minimal fees, call the US, hopefully, and let them know you were alive?

We remember. Glad we live here now and have no ties.

Of course you have no ties, there is little that you do that requires you to "dress up".
