We were treated to another absolutely picture-perfect postcard day in Zihuatanejo this Tuesday. Monday evening saw a rather spectacular light show as a thunderstorm passed close by our bay, but we barely got a sprinkle out of it. Typical! ¡'Tamo' sala'o'!

But not to fear! Another area of disturbed tropical air is forming to our south and expected to move up along our coast, much like Hilary did. We'll probably see another hurricane come to life in front of us, so keep an eye on our local weather.

From our downtown perspective we sure seem to have much fewer tourists so far this week than we had last week. The waterfront has been mostly empty at night, with mostly a few locals strolling about. This is to be expected as families get their kids ready to go back to school.
