Has anyone kept track of how much rain we had so far this. season. Is it just me but if seems we have had very little.

We have a weather station in our yard on Playa la Ropa, near the dolphins. To date, since it started in May, we have had just over 16 inches. Very low. Last season we had 35 inches, the year before, 65.
To follow our weather station, go to weatherlink.com and do the free registration. Then search for Casa 4 Vientos. That will keep you current.

Thank you Talley, from past experiences living in Zi I know this was not normal, but did not realize just how bad things are. After living in CA off & on over the years I've learned to not only conserve but to reuse water for my plants... worth repeating "if it is yellow let it mellow, if brown flush it down? Hope you do not mind if I take your info and do a little sharing.

Personal call.
After living so happily with my partner, we, in Califiornia, decided on, if there are two pieces of toilet paper in the basin, flush. If there are solids, flush.
Together for 47+ years, it works for us especially here.

The Servicio Meteorológico Nacional keeps track of total rainfall on their website.

Yes, we're way below average, but this was predicted by the SMN due to the El Niño event.
