Boat to Las Gatas
Hello everyone,
My wife and myself, plus one other couple are lucky enough to be visiting the Ixtapa- Zihuatanejo area soon. We have been to Las Gatas multiple times. Both by boat from the pier, and myself from the trail from La Ropa. The couple coming with us have never been to either beach. They would like to walk the coastline trail. Unfortunately I presently can not do that walk. My hope is we can go to La Ropa, they can walk the trail and we can catch a boat. Does anyone know if this is a possibility and who to ask?

Of course you can leave them at the pier, but our suggestion is that you go to the Mercado de Artisanias, that is between the Villa Meixcana and The Thompson and talk to Victor Vargas who has the legal concession to do what you want. He sets up in the morning and is there all day between the two hotels.He and his family have two nice pangas and do whatever you want. Honest, reliable.
